SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY COUNCIL TO MEET WITH GOVERNOR

The Idaho Department of Commerce & Labor issued the following news release:

The Science & Technology Advisory Council will review the status of Idaho's technology industry and consider future state policies around a working lunch with Gov. C. L. "Butch" Otter April 3 in Twin Falls.

The council, which advises the governor on policy issues and infrastructure needs for the state's technology industry, will also discuss a report refining Idaho's core competencies and consider Utah's science and technology model during its quarterly meeting.

The council will meet from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Shilo Inn in Twin Falls.

The public meeting will also be Web cast at http://technology.idaho.gov. An archived recording of the event will be available afterwards.
