Swann, Romney: Reviving Faith,Encouraging Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs

PHILADELPHIA-Today, Massachusetts Governorand Chairman of the Republican Governors Association (RGA)Mitt Romney joined Republican gubernatorial candidate Lynn Swann to highlight the revival of faith and urban economic development in Pennsylvania.

After meeting with clergy members from Philadelphia and the surrounding region, Romney and Swann were joined by area community leaders and over 100 supporters at the Enterprise Center. The Philadelphia Boys Choir also performed.

"My faith has played an important role in shaping my values, my goals, and my vision for leadership, and I understand the impact that faith-based organizations canhave in the lives of our children and in our communities," said Swann. "As Governor, I will follow Mitt Romney's lead in Massachusetts and work with our community leaders to revitalize our neighborhoods and provide a better economic environment right here in Philadelphia and across the Commonwealth."

The RGAalso made a contribution of $250,000 to the Swann campaign.
