Assessing Maines Technology Clusters
The report by the University of Southern Maines Muskie School indicates assesses Maines seven targeted technology sectors and represents the first systematic attempt to analyze the growth of the states industry clusters. The report concludes that Maine has no star clusters but potential stars, biotechnology and information technology. Additionally, Maines forest products, agriculture and aquaculture clusters are strong, yet have small potential for growth.
