Learning of SMEs in Networks: The Role Of Absorptive Capacity
Building on the seminal paper of Cohen and Levinthal (1990) in which R&D-expenditure is taken as the main indicator for absorptive capacity, this study discusses four alternative indicators, i.e. Internal knowledge base, cooperation, external knowledge base and internal cooperation.
