The CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) is leading IN AI, an effort to help employers find practical ways to incorporate artificial intelligence to boost productivity and job growth. In cooperation with Gov. Mike Braun’s administration, they are connecting small businesses and large corporations with practical AI applications and technical advice. 

Georgia Tech recently launched an expanded AI-driven manufacturing testbed designed to help companies, researchers, and students develop and validate advanced automation technologies in a real-world manufacturing environment. The announcement highlights the growing impact of the Georgia AI Manufacturing (GA-AIM) coalition. Supported through its $65 million BBBRC investment, GA-AIM is working to position Georgia as a national leader in AI-enabled manufacturing while also expanding workforce pathways and ensuring broader participation in the manufacturing economy of the future. 

Expansion is underway at Pittsburgh International Airport’s innovative advanced manufacturing hub, with officials breaking ground on a new 108,000-square-foot facility at the Neighborhood 91 campus. The project, led by the Regional Industrial Development Corporation (RIDC) in partnership with the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA), represents the latest phase of growth for the advanced manufacturing campus located adjacent to the airport. The new building will sit on approximately 5.8 acres within the nearly 200-acre N91 site. 

The University of Utahis partnering with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to launch the Strategic Materials Accelerator & Research Testbed (SMART), a major innovation platform designed to accelerate the United States’ capabilities in critical minerals and rare earth elements. 

US Ignite recently launched its Supporting U.S. Regional Growth & Entrepreneurship (SURGE) program. The program, which is supported by NSF TIP, equips regional coalitions with the structure, guidance, and connections needed to move from planning to action. SURGE supports ecosystem builders advancing regional innovation and economic growth efforts across the U.S. SURGE builds on momentum generated by NSF Engines.
