Throughout the presidential campaign President-elect Barack Obama continually emphasized the need for new policies to spur the development of clean and renewable energy technologies. Despite the economic downturn, President-elect Obama has maintained that these new programs will remain a priority for his administration.

Penn State University is seeking an entrepreneurial leader for its Office of Economic and Workforce Development. The director of economic and workforce development reports to the vice president for outreach at Penn State's campus in University Park, Pa. A master’s degree or equivalent knowledge and at least seven years of related experience are required.
