24 companies joined RPI incubator this year

TROY - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy says 24 companies have joined its incubator program in the past fiscal year.

To date, 40 companies are part of the program. Eighteen are housed at the incubator building on campus, and 22 affiliated companies are located elsewhere - in the Capital Region, the U.S. and abroad in Canada, Denmark, Brazil, India, France and the Ukraine.

The RPI program, founded in 1980, is one of the country's earliest incubators.
