The purpose of this study is to provide an objective analysis of the contribution of CalTIP to the local tech community and to assess the quality of its administration in San Diego. Since its inception in 1993, a total of $8 million in CalTIP funding has been awarded to companies developing technological innovations and applications in San Diego.
