KTEC names Entrepreneur in Residence

A Kansas native who grew up in Hutchinson is now the Kansas Technology Enterprise Corp.'s new Entrepreneur in Residence.

Dennis Depenbusch will help entrepreneurs and companies find commercial applications and capital for their products and services.

Before accepting the position at KTEC, Depenbusch was chairman and CEO of Catalyst Lighting Group Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. He also served as vice president for Euronet Worldwide.

"Dennis has vast experience in technology, commercialization and capital acquisition," said Tracy Taylor, KTEC president and CEO, in a statement. "We believe his work with the universities in identifying high potential technologies, as well as his knowledge in policy matters will truly help meet many of Kansas' entrepreneurs needs."

KTEC is a public-private partnership created by the state of Kansas to support technology-based economic development.
