PORT CLINTON - Fenner Dunlop North America Inc. announced yesterday that it will spend $38 million to build a manufacturing facility, to employ up to 75, in this Ottawa County town.
The company, with its parent company based in the United Kingdom, said the project includes state-of-the-art equipment to produce wide steel cord belting for conveyor belts.
The project is subject to approval of financing and incentives by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority, the State Controlling Board, and the Fenner board. The Ohio Department of Development has offered more than $9.1 million in incentives and Ottawa County more than $1.6 million.
