RICE TO LEAVE IT ASSOCIATION

The first president of the Information Technology Association of Wisconsin is leaving, the group announced.

Jim Rice will leave the organization following an agreed-upon transition period, but will remain on its board. Chairman William C. Mortimore will oversee Rice's responsibilities until a replacement is found.

"Jim guided ITAWi during its critical formative period, creating strong growth and initiating its valued programming and member initiatives," Mortimore said in a statement. "His strong leadership and experience guiding ITAWi, and above all, his values will have a lasting impact on ITAWi and our members."
