Governor Kathleen Sebelius has appointed Dr. Bruce Dallman to the Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation (KTEC).
This group, through its own efforts and in conjunction with the Kansas Bioscience Authority, has spurred economic growth in Kansas, Sebelius said. KTEC works to bring jobs to Kansas and helps us to maintain our role as a competitor in several growing industries.
Dr. Dallman, Pittsburg, is the Dean of the College of Technology at Pittsburg State University. In this role, Dr. Dallman provides academic and administrative leadership to five departments, including: engineering technology, automotive technology, graphics and image technologies, technology studies and technology management. KTEC is a private/public partnership established by the state to promote technology based economic development. KTEC assists Kansas entrepreneurs and technology companies by supporting the development and commercialization of new technologies through a statewide network designed and built to support researchers, entrepreneurs, and technology companies.
Also reappointed to KTEC were Linda Reinhart, Erie, and Dr. David McDonald, Wichita.
