COMMERCE DIRECTOR TAKES LEAVE OF ABSENCE

DATELINE: BOISE, Idaho


The following information was released by the office of the governor of Idaho:

Governor C.L. Butch Otter granted a request today from Jim Ellick, director of the Idaho Department of Commerce, to immediately begin a leave of absence for personal reasons.

Governor Otter said Don Dietrich, administrator of the Department of Commerce's Division of Economic and Community Development, will be acting director in Ellick's absence.
