Ehnmark appointed TAG executive director

Apr. 13--Anna Ehnmark was appointed executive director of the Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington.

Ehnmark is the organization's first executive director. The technology trade association's mission is promoting, educating and advocating for the area's technology businesses. Ehnmark is co-owner of Open Access Network Services LLC, a Bellingham-based Internet service provider.

"TAG has been delivering valuable services to its members and the community since 1999 based on a very active volunteer board. Adding a staff person, our first executive director, will enable us to step up our efforts and support the execution of the new strategic plan," said board Chairman Paul Grey.

The plan broadens TAG's scope from being a trade association for technology companies to adding economic development services, according to the organization's press release.
